• Asharqia Chamber organizes the Eastern Region Business Forum next month

    Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz and in the presence and participation of His Excellency Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Asharqia Chamber organized the " the Eastern Region Business Forum " on 17th April at the headquarter of the Chamber in Dammam.

     

    The Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the Forum will discuss a number of important topics that directly related to the business, including the legislation and regulations of electronic commerce and its impact on the retail sector due to the importance of e-commerce as it is the dominant language in the retail markets.

    Al Khalidi added that the Forum will review the success stories of some prominent institutions in facing challenges and difficulties in order to exchange views on the solutions to these challenges and those difficulties.

    Al-Khalidi said that the Forum will witness dialogue session with His Excellency Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi through which the concerns of workers in the commercial sector will be discussed, as well as finding visual solutions.

    He pointed out that this Forum, which is one of the activities of the Commercial Committee in Asharqia Chamber, is part of the Chamber's mission to develop business activity through opening up further prospects for the private sector and searching for solutions to the difficulties facing this sector.

    He pointed out that a great preparation by the Scientific Committee of the Forum, as it selected a number of experts and speakers who have experience, knowledge and experience in the field.

    He expected that the Forum would be another addition to the business activity in the Eastern region.

     

    Al-Khalidi also paid tribute to His Highness the Prince of the Eastern Region for sponsoring the activities of this Forum, and for the Minister of Commerce and Investment to interact with the forum and participate in one of its meetings.​
